WALLA WALLA, Wash. – The Whitman College women's tennis team rolled to a 7-0 Northwest Conference blanking of Linfield University on Saturday afternoon at the Bratton Tennis Center, improving to 2-0 in league play.

The Blues kept their foot on the gas in singles, winning all six courts and conceding only one set on the day. Vang capped a strong afternoon with a three-set triumph at No. 1, outlasting Canubida 6-2, 1-6, 6-2 to close the match. Wells was dominant in a 6-2, 6-0 decision over Baltz at No. 2, and Bailey Bell backed that up with a 6-0, 6-4 win against Emily Redwood on court three.
