HILLSBORO, Ore. — Coming off another Northwest Conference championship campaign, the Whitman College men's tennis team was well represented on the 2026 All-Northwest Conference teams, headlined by junior Alexander Stage being voted NWC Player of the Year.

Stage earned first-team All-NWC honors in both singles and doubles for the second straight season, capping a standout season (12-0) at the top of the Blues' lineup. His first-team doubles recognition came alongside partner Niklas Jensen (13-0), who himself earned first-team singles honors. The duo cemented themselves as one of the league's premier tandems during conference play with an 11-2 record.

Whitman's depth was also recognized across the singles and doubles ballots. Artem Manov earned Second Team All-NWC Singles honors after a strong season in the upper half of the lineup, adding to Whitman's presence among the league's top individual performers. Guillermo Rodriguez was named third-team singles following a breakout year that saw him emerge as a reliable point in the middle of the order.

In doubles, the Blues placed a second team on the All-NWC rolls, as senior Charles Rush and Manov collected third-team doubles recognition. The pair provided crucial depth in dual matches and contributed significantly to Whitman's push to another conference title.
