Nine Blues Earn Northwest All-Conference Honors

HILLSBORO, Ore. - The Whitman College women's lacrosse team was well represented on the 2026 Northwest All-Conference Team, highlighted by three major individual awards and six total all-league selections as the honors were announced on Friday by the conference office.

In total, Whitman placed nine members on the all-conference team.

Head coach Chris Duncan was voted Northwest Conference Coach of the Year for the second straight season after guiding the Blues to another standout campaign. Goalie Renn Novak was named Defensive Player of the Year, while first-year attacker Serafin Miller earned Rookie of the Year honors to cap a banner awards haul for the program.

Both the defensive and rookie of the year honors were the second straight for the Blues who won it when Joy Olson-Udertiz and Sarah Hawkins claimed those honors, respectively, last season.

Novak was also selected to the All-NWC First Team after anchoring the Whitman defense in goal. She led the league in goals against average (7.58) among goalies who played in all eight games. She was joined on the first team by the aforementioned Olson-Udertiz, Hawkins, Miller. Hawkins led the league in both assists (39) and points (59).

Whitman added two honors to the second team in Teagan Huff and Lola McConaghy, both second-time NWC selections. Second-time selections Lindsey Pasena-Littlesky and Andrea Garcia collected third team recognition, to round out the Blues' all-conference contingent.
